Nordic Bacardí Legacy Cocktail Competition 2014 finalists announced, Trader Magnus

In February next year it’s time for the Nordic finals of the fourth annual Bacardí Legacy Global Cocktail Competition, and a jury have been busy travelling around Norway, Denmark and Sweden to visit the bartenders who have submitted the most promising recipes. One of these nice gentlemen will be crowned Nordic champion, and one from each country will qualify to the global finals in Moscow in May:

Sweden
Mattias Skoog (Linje tio)
Fredric “Lulle” Södersteen (Svartengrens)
Emil Åreng (Rex Bar & Grill)

Andreas Nilsson (Strøm)
Niklas Frank (Madam Chu’s)
Mikael Nilsson (Strøm)

Norway
Chris Grøvedt (Theatercaféen)
Jesper Høst (No. 19)
Alex Ruas (Bristol Bar)

An interesting fact is that two of the Danish finalists actually are from Sweden, which means that 5 out of 9 finalists are Swedish, isn’t that great? Anyway, in two months from now we’ll find out who will compete against the rest of the world – good luck!
