After two intense days in and around Drummuir Castle in Scotland, the Nordic finals of the World Class competition has come to an end and the winners have been announced.
One bartender from each Nordic country qualified for the global finals in Miami this September, and those lucky people are:

If you wanna find out two of the reasons Johan Evers now can call himself “Sweden’s Best Bartender”, try to make his winner cocktails yourself. Recipes below.
50 ml Mortlach Rare Old Scotch whisky
30 ml coffee and violet macerated vermouth
12,5 ml Cherry Heering
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
1 dash Angostura bitters
Stir all ingredients, pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon zest.
TWICE AS VICE (for two people)
85 ml Don Julio Blanco tequila
8 ml Oloroso sherry
40 ml Lime juice
60 ml Horchata
30 ml Queens Cordial (raspberries and blueberries mixed with Ron Zacapa 23, sugar and water)
10 ml Lime sorbet
15 ml Nutmeg syrup
Served with edible sand (toasted coconut, coconut butter, granulated sugar and castor oil).
