Casa Bacardí rum bar now open at Arlanda Airport, Sweden, Trader Magnus

Casa Bacardí opened at Arlanda Airport on Friday February 22, and will from now on be able to serve rum drinks to thirsty travelers seven days a week. The bar, which is designed to resemble the iconic cocktail establishments of Havana, Cuba in the 1950s, is located after security in Terminal 5, and will focus on popular classics like Mojito, Cuba Libre and Daiquiri.

For apparent reasons, it’s not a bar you’ll visit spontaneously unless you’re about to travel abroad, and my previous experiences regarding cocktails at Arlanda Airport haven’t been the best, to put it mildly – but this initiative might actually be an improvement to the available options. I’ll be sure to check it out on my way to Copenhagen Spirits & Cocktails in about a month from now…
