Well, not really… but at Trader Vic’s they serve a concoction called Honi Honi, which is basically a Mai Tai with bourbon instead of rum. So, since I had some bacon-infused bourbon left from Christmas eve, I thought I’d make a bacon-infused bourbon Mai Tai – and it’s not bad at all!
6 cl bacon-infused Bulleit bourbon
1½ cl Clément Shrubb Orange
¾ cl Monin orgeat syrup
¾ cl homemade simple syrup
3 cl fresh lime juice
Shake with ice cubes, strain into old fashioned-glass filled with ice cubes and garnish with a cherry. Enjoy!
